College & Student
Here at theBridge we are so excited to support the Chi Alpha Christian Fellowship at Virginia Tech (VTXA). Chi Alpha is a diverse, missional community of the Spirit, committed to making disciples who attend Virginia Tech and is currently shepherded by Anthony and Michelle Saladino. They are support-based US missionaries with a tremendous heart to see college students reached with the gospel of Jesus Christ and discipled to be passionate, life-long followers of Him.
From six years ago, Chi Alpha has grown from about 30 active members to over 150 campus-wide. This year they have over 70 student leaders who will be reaching out to and discipling other students through small groups, Wednesday night worship and teaching, and social events each weekend. God is moving in big ways at Virginia Tech and VTXA & theBridge is excited to be part of what He is doing! How can you get involved?
There are two great ways you can be part of this mission. First, Anthony and Michelle Saladino and their team, Katie Jaberg, Melissa Kausch, Melanie Fish, and Megan and Josh Kestner are all funded through the support of generous members of the Body of Christ. To be able to meet the mission they have been called to among the students at VT, they have to raise between $18,000 and $30,000 a year. If you would like to make a one-time or monthly contribution, Click HERE and type in one of their names to give. Secondly, the students of VTXA love theBridge and many of them will need rides on Sunday mornings the first few weeks of school. To help with this ministry and get college students plugged in, please contact email@example.com.
All students are invited to a special worship service on Monday evenings from 6:30-9:00pm @ theBridge hosted by our on-campus Bible College, Ignite Academy.
